Welcome to Shegan Tail Persians, a small cattery located north of Houston. In my breeding program, I am primarily working with Whites and Bi-Colors, occassionally I will get a solid. I work with pure Persians that only have non CPCs in their lineage.

My love for Persians began in 1990 when I bought my first, a Shaded Silver female named "Precious". For many years, I had them only as pets and had always dreamed of having a litter of these gorgeous, well-dispositioned creatures.

In 2006, my huband bought me a Blue Smoke named "Bianka"...well that was it! I had made up my mind that I was going to give breeding a try. It has been my passion ever since.

I have come a long way since Bianka and I very quickly learned that"showquality Persians" was were my heart was going to lie. However, my most important goal is to breed for good health, fun-loving dispositions and of course, Persians that meet the CFA standard.

The "ideal" Persian should be a well balanced cat with round, soft lines.They should also have have large, round expressive eyes that are set wide apart. Their head also should be large and round with small ears facing forward that contributes to the overall look. The Persian's coat should be long and thick, which will enhance the overall balance of the animal and give a rounding affect.

She'gan Tail is a work in progress and will always be striving to meet and exceed these qualities. She'gan Tail is working with Grand Champion, Regional and National winning lines as well as many Distinguished Merits.

We have some very special people to thank for having these exceptional lines. I would like ot thank Cacao Cattery for getting us started into our pure Persian program. Also, thanks to Posh Persians, Ocean Purrls.

Our pedigrees include lines from: Wishstar, Artemis, SouthPaw, Pajeans, Harwood, Candirands, Catillak, Fanci FX, Parti Wai, Bayou Moon, Cacao, Posh Persians, Cantilly Lace, EZ Luvin, Rhamjoge, Purrmunns, Steeple Chase, Budmar, Tehy, Kissables, Ocean Purrls, Aftabi and more. These lines are the most prevalent in our pedigrees.

I do have kittens available as pets, breeders and show. I update the site frequently and hope you enjoy browsing through.
